𝓼𝓸...𝓲 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓭 𝓬𝓵𝓸𝓬𝓴𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓴 𝓹𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓬𝓮𝓼𝓼 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓼𝓮𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮 & 𝓬𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓭 𝓪𝓰𝓪𝓲𝓷

I am heartbroken…and tomorrow is my birthday, so let’s review CLOCKWORK PRINCESS.

We see a horrifying prologue with a girl screaming and her skin being peeled off, but I’ve read worse, and then in Chapter 1: we see Jem and Will’s friendship begin ❤️

I love Jem and Will’s friendship. Like, Will could only be himself by Jem, and I think it’s beautiful. If Cassandra Clare made them both the ‘Forbidden Parabatai lovers’ I would ship them to be honest.

Tessa was wearing her wedding dress when Gabriel comes in.

“’Father is…a worm.’”

When I told you I laughed…

“’You don’t think I can fight because I’m a girl,’ Tessa said, drawing back his silvery gaze with her own.

‘I don’t think you can fight because you’re wearing a wedding dress,’ said Jem. ‘For what it’s worth, I don’t think Will could fight in that wedding dress.’

‘Perhaps not,’ said Will. ‘But I’d make a radiant bride.’”

Honorable mention. Never knew the meme came from here. Anyway, Gabriel kills his father and Jem is friggin dying.

COUNCIL WAYLAND IS A FRIGGIN…I DON’T WHAT SWEAR WORD TO USE!

Anyway, let’s skip. Jem finds out Will is in love with Tessa and basically is like, ‘Oh, cool, me too!’ and in typical Jem fashion is more ashamed to have kept the engagement and hurt Will. Will goes after Tessa (who was kidnapped, by the way) Jem and Will say their goodbyes (nooo).

And there are a lot of heartbroken moments in this book, but this is the one that me cry…

“I would have liked to see the baby.’”

Like Charlotte, I cried. I knew he didn’t die, but…Anyway, Jem allegedly dies.

Magnus and Henry become besties! I love this duo. Can’t believe Henry introduced Magnus to glitter.

Will goes to Tessa, and…you know what happens. Magnus rescues them and a fight ensues. Tessa finds out Ithuriel is trapped in her clockwork angel. Really, man? This guy keeps getting trapped in places. Anyway, she shape-shifts into the angel and destroys everything, blah blah blah.

The prologue…nothing to say except tears were shed…Jem crying over Will naming his child after him…Tessa and him reuniting…

I love this book. Definitely the favorite of the series. A five out five for me! Heartbreaking yet…don’t know what to say.

It’s a solid book, but it was still really disappointing. Nothing could surpass the first book. Teresa is dead, so that’s the only good thing. But now Newt is dead! I hate that. T M R is amazing and I take no criticism Y’all, reading and watching HEART STOPPER before the maze runner made me think that Charlie would be a great runner 😭 he is like only a year younger than Thomas, so same age range haha. Anyway, if you haven’t guessed, today we’re reviewing THE MAZE RUNNER , the first book in the series. If you don’t know what this book is, let me google this real quick. “A teen [Thomas] wakes up in a clearing in the centre of a gigantic maze with no memory of his past, finding himself a resident in community of boys who have built a village in the glade and who sends two of its strongest and fittest runners into the maze every morning to find a way out.” This is for the movie but it translates to the book as well. The Maze Runner is an amazing book, I really enjoyed it. It felt like a mystery, revealing information slowly each chapter, while the main characters tried to solve it.
