Hey guys, it's Eesha Samantray from the Samantray Post.

Today we’re reviewing the Percy Jackson series! I don’t think I can criticize this series (but then again do I ever criticize books on this blog?) but I can gush about it!

I’m aiming to read the book in one day! Yes, I haven’t read it yet. But, at the end of the day (or when I finish the book) I’ll be back to review it!

***

Hey guys! I’m back after reading the whole book. It was 3:00 when I started the book and now (checks clock) it is 6:50!

PM, by the way, I’m not an early-morning reader. Anyway, let’s start. I have nothing to say about the plot, other than I enjoyed it and loved Percy’s narrative.

But when they start off on their quest.

Argus is a Percabeth shipper!!!! That’s all I have to say on the first half of the book. Oh, wait, I also want to say that when Luke was introduced, I strangely felt happy. Like I know he’s bad person and the ending of the series redeemed him and all.

But Luke is an interesting villain – I know he isn’t THE villain, but he is an interesting character. Like, his reason for betraying Percy is somewhat true. I can’t blame him for feeling angry at his father and the gods for abandoning their children. I think that Kronos used his feelings and turned Luke against the gods.

That’s all the thoughts I have for this book. Rating – 5 stars. Love it.

So I won't be reading the next book in one day, it's because I have to move things around in my reading schedule as the pride and prejudice book I ordered will be coming in two days (by the time I post this the movie and book review will be posted)

It’s 02:30 PM, right now. (I’m going to read two books at one time, little women and percy jackson, the little women movie (2019) and book review will also be posted before this is!)

I don't know if I'll be reading the next book in a day, but we'll see! (by the way, do you guys want more posts with many pictures like this one, I'll be doing it anyway but tell me!)

It’s the next day, I finished it yesterday but since I started little women and was immersed in that, I didn’t come back.

I’m not sure I can say anything for the first half of the book except Tantalus is a bitch and I love Tyson so much…I would die for Tyson.

Hey guys, I finished the book, and I gotta tell ya, reading this reminded me of how sarcastic and oblivious Percy is. Of course, it was in the lightning thief, but still.

Anyway, I love this book. I’ve read this book four times and still gasped at the plot twist in the end. Anyway, I don’t have much thoughts on the first two books, since many of my favorite moments are the next three books. See you tomorrow! I mean for you it’ll be in the next sentence but still…bye!

Hey guys, I’m back. It is the next day. I had time to read the first half of the titan’s curse, before my copy of pride and prejudice came. I probably have posted the review before I post this.

Thoughts: Love it. Loved Thalia. It was so funny to see Apollo before he had any character development.

Not much thoughts, see you tomorrow! Got to go read pride and prejudice.

Hey guys, I’m back after finishing the titan’s curse. And oh my god, Zoe’s death absolutely heartbreaking. Nothing to say except I love Thalia and Annabeth’s dad, hate Atlas, Artemis is a badass and Apollo is hilarious.

As I said, we love to see the character before the development and laugh.

Now, I’m going to start the next half of the battle of the labyrinth. Buh-bye!

I finished the book in two days. But I didn’t update my thoughts on the half like the others. This is my second favorite of the series. It has great action scenes, it’s the only book with all four of them together on a quest. I loved the Daedalus twist. I love Mrs. O'Leary…

Oh, and Annabeth’s jealousy – oh I loved her sassiness.

Five stars. Next book, my favorite of the series.

OK, I'm sorry. I'm lazy. I didn't want to take a photo of my book. I won't be like that for the rest of the riordenverse, I promise.

So, I just finished about 70 pages of the book, but I just wanted to talk about Beckandorf. That death was so unfair. Silena, you might’ve been a traitor, but I feel for you.

And – the coward scene, god…I felt it. Also, Percy is so oblivious to Annabeth’s feelings. The heck, he can take Pottah's role in that department.

Bye!

UPDATE: I completely forgot that the little emo boy (Nico) had betrayed Percy. And let me say that Persephone and Demeter are hilarious. I love that Persephone is so dramatic.

‘With great power…comes great need to take a nap’ Holy shit, I love Nico.

ANOTHER GODAMN UPDATE: OMG, Thalia came! Missed her.

I’ve finished…why did I tear up at Luke’s death…I love him. Anyway, this is my favorite book of the series. I loved the action, the deaths; everything was awesome. Loved getting Luke’s backstory.

Now, we’ve finally finished the series in a span of a week! Time for the thoughts on the whole series.

Holy shit, this was a mess of a post. I promise the heroes of Olympus review will be much more organized, this was a mess.

Anyway, I love this series so much. I don’t think I can critise it. I’m sure there are flaws, but don’t make me point them out. I’m sure you’ve read the series if you’re here. Thoughts?

Of course, you know my rating – 5 stars. This series made me start reading, so it’s very dear to my heart.

I started the lost hero last night, so the review of heroes of Olympus will be posted next month. Yeah, sorry, I’m taking my time with it. Three days each book. So, sorry.

Hope you enjoyed this mess of a ride of me reading one of my all time favorite series for the fifth time.

This is Eesha Samantray.

a very very short review of heartstopper

A very very short review of  h e a r t s t o p p e r Finally! It’s the show starring the ship; 𝓰𝓸𝓵𝓭𝓮𝓷 𝓻𝓮𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻 × 𝓰𝓪𝔂 𝓯𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓰𝓾𝓶𝓹 Hi guys, it’s Eesha Samantray from the Samantray Post and today we’re reviewing HEART STOPPER , a tv adaptation of the graphic novel series. I watched the show without reading the books, and then went on webtoon and read the first two novels, then watched the show again. It’s a really well-done adaptation – I actually found out while reading the books, that most of the scenes were straight out of the books. All the changes were very welcome to me – like more drama, which was bound to happen as it was adapted into a show – including adding some new characters; Imogen, who I was very surprised by the turn they took with her character and how I loved her, and of course, one of the best characters; Isaac. He was just in the background reading his books, which is most likely to be me, as much as I’d li...

i hate teresa, she can die a brutal death

𝓲 𝓱𝓪𝓽𝓮 𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓪 , 𝓼𝓱𝓮 𝓬𝓪𝓷 𝓭𝓲𝓮 𝓪 𝓫𝓻𝓾𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓱 Hey guys, it’s Eesha Samantray from The Samantray Post ! Today we’re reviewing THE SCORCH TRIALS , the second book of the Maze Runner series. I’ll sum it up; this book wasn’t good. The first book was phenomenal, but this book was…eh. Yes, there were twists – mostly involving Teresa, who I’ll talk about a bit later. But it just wasn’t good. People would tell you the exact reason why this book isn’t good, but those people aren’t reviewing this book I’ll tell you what scared the heebie-jeebies outta me: “Rose took my nose, I suppose. It really blows.” No context, sorry. You know if you know. Now let’s talk about what I really wanted to talk about: ~Teresa~ I fricken hate this girl. Don’t give me crap about ‘She’s doing it for humanity and Thomas.’ She made it clear that she’s with WICKED. And I felt really bad for Thomas. Newt would treat you better, just sayin’. “They kissed, but nothing stirred i...

teresa is finally dead, but im bawling over newt

𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓪 𝓲𝓼 𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓵𝔂 𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓭 , 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝓲𝓶 𝓫𝓪𝔀𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝓷𝓮𝔀𝓽 Hi, it’s Eesha Samantray from The Samantray Post . Today we’re reviewing THE DEATH CURE , the third and last book of the Maze Runner series. It’s a solid book, but it was still really disappointing. Nothing could surpass the first book. Teresa is dead, so that’s the only good thing. But now Newt is dead! I hate that. They killed off my favourite character. I think that in the movie his death was sadder, but that’s my opinion. That’s my review, thank you for reading. --- Laugh at all the memes I've saved on Pinterest -   https://www.pinterest.at/eeshasamantray/_saved/ Check out what I'm reading on Goodreads -  https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/146096902-eesha-samantray Read my writing and enter my competitions on Quotev -  https://www.quotev.com/thesamantraypost

tmr is amazing and i take no criticism

T M R is amazing and I take no criticism Y’all, reading and watching HEART STOPPER   before the maze runner made me think that Charlie would be a great runner 😭 he is like only a year younger than Thomas, so same age range haha. Anyway, if you haven’t guessed, today we’re reviewing THE MAZE RUNNER , the first book in the series. If you don’t know what this book is, let me google this real quick. “A teen [Thomas] wakes up in a clearing in the centre of a gigantic maze with no memory of his past, finding himself a resident in community of boys who have built a village in the glade and who sends two of its strongest and fittest runners into the maze every morning to find a way out.” This is for the movie but it translates to the book as well. The Maze Runner is an amazing book, I really enjoyed it. It felt like a mystery, revealing information slowly each chapter, while the main characters tried to solve it. It read like a movie – which was why it made a great one! T...
