Hey
guys, it’s Eesha Samantray from The Samantray Post! Today we’re reviewing THE
SCORCH TRIALS, the second book of the Maze Runner series.
I’ll
sum it up; this book wasn’t good. The first book was phenomenal, but this book
was…eh.
Yes,
there were twists – mostly involving Teresa, who I’ll talk about a bit later.
But
it just wasn’t good. People would tell you the exact reason why this book isn’t
good, but those people aren’t reviewing this book
I’ll
tell you what scared the heebie-jeebies outta me:
“Rose took my nose, I suppose. It really blows.”
No
context, sorry. You know if you know.
Now
let’s talk about what I really wanted to talk about:
~Teresa~
I
fricken hate this girl. Don’t give me crap about ‘She’s doing it for humanity
and Thomas.’ She made it clear that she’s with WICKED.
And
I felt really bad for Thomas. Newt would treat you better, just sayin’.
“They kissed, but nothing stirred inside Thomas. He felt nothing.”
I
don’t know why this is so funny to me.
I
get Thomas, he really felt betrayed, so I get how he doesn’t love her anymore.
Again,
Newt wouldn’t treat you like that.
That’s the review. Newt and Minho were amazing as usual, love Newt.
