Hey guys! It’s Eesha Samantray from the Samantray Post. Today im going to be reviewing SIX OF CROWS. Of course, it’s a reread. Yup, I finally finished the book. I’m going to be reading crooked kingdom tonight and the review will be coming in a couple of days, then we’ll be getting the infernal devices and you know what next…

Anyway, SIX OF CROWS time!

No spoiler free thoughts, cuz, dude, it was released in 2015, read it.

We begin with Joost. I love him and his not-grown mustache, but I have a confession I read this book TWO times (which isn’t much). Only after rereading it, and when my sister was talking about Joost’s death did I realize that he died.

Was it the fact I skim over things, or was it that I was too dumb for not realizing they described his death in Kaz’s POV? Both.

After they show Grisha on crack, we one of the most iconic scenes in this book (and they have a LOT); Kaz Brekker being a criminal mastermind. That word just reminds me of Megamind, so…

Kazzle dazzle gets kidnapped by Wyvil’s dad and gets a thirty million kruge job. We see Nina, and Matthias gets out of prizon. And he expresses his happiness by trying to strangle her! Just cute couple things (giggles).

We meet Wylan Van Eck; my favorite character. I know, I know. But I love him. It has hard to pick one of the crows, but…

You know when you have a crush on a fictional character but do not ship yourself with them and ship them so hard with their one true love? That’s me with Wylan (I figured this out after I read it this time; you don’t know how much I love when his name is mentioned).

The moment he was revealed in the books? Oh man, I can see this so clearly in the show – especially with Wylan’s casting. Anyway, Matthias gets his ass kicked by Demjin and they go to the ship.

Most iconic scene alert. Inej gets stabbed and Kazzie catves the guy who did it’s eye ball out – oh, you know, cute couple things pt. 2 (giggles). No biggie, just a kanej shipper in the backround screaming.

They sail to Fjerda.

Anyway, Nina and Matthias see Grisha burnt on stakes. When they bury them, they agree that Yul-Bayur is too dangerous and he needs to eliminated.

Poor Kazzle Dazzle passes out because skin, you know? Talking about his past – look, Kaz and Inej have a lot to get through. I’m sure that one day they will get through their trauma and can be together, and that is enough for me. I knew this rereading, and am still with this mindset, but oh god how I am attached.

Speaking about pasts, skipping to Inej and Nina dressing as part of the Menagerie, poor Inej.

Oh, god. Oh, god. Wesper are alone, breaking the metal chain that holds the gate.

‘Just girls?’

‘No, not just girls.’

SCREAMING. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. THEY REALLY ARE MY FAVORITE SHIP OF THIS SERIES (sorry not sorry).

Wait for the next book (and the ending of this one) cuz ill be in a rant, bish.

Next, Matthias traps Nina and betrays her (yeah right, Leigh). Plot twist; it ain’t.

‘I don’t know if you’re wrong about Grisha, but I know you’re wrong about her.’

HOW MANY SYNONYMS OF SCREAMING DO YOU THINK I CAN FIT HERE? YOU GET THE GIST. I swore to myself that I’d not get attached to this ship rereading (because, you know), but that LINE, I’M WEAK SIR!

Plot twist: Yul-Bayur is a little teenager and a LITTLE BETCH! Yes, im salty about him after crooked kingdom, AND IT DOESN’T HELP I ALREADY HAVE READ HALF OF CROOKED KINGDOM! (yes, I have, it’s been a few days, and I haven’t done this review yet…sorry).

Matthias says they can’t kill him (sure you can, you have an experienced Grisha and you know how to kill people).

‘I’ll have you without your armor, or not at all.’ I’m sobbing. Good for you, Inej, that was a good decision, but let me cry…pls…KANEJ.

By the way, Nina got some crack.

Anyway, it’s the end. And imma bout to rant, bish, so get ready. Jan Van Dick double-crosses them and then Kaz says Wylan is on the boat.

VAN DICK SAYS THAT WYLAN IS A DISSPOINTMENT BECAUSE HE CAN’T READ. Listen here, you little bitch-boy, imma come for you. My wyvil is the best, he is effing marvelous and I will bash your head in, you little shit. You made Wylan think he deserves and is worthless, and I will effing murder you…Jesper would agree.

Anyway, that was my rant and that’s it for the six of crows review. Oh yeah, and Wylan was disguised as Kuwei and Jesper says:

‘Maybe I like your stupid face.’

That’s all. The ships will have their moments in the second book, so that review will probably be posted tomorrow, so bye!

Today we’re reviewing the Percy Jackson series! I don’t think I can criticize this series (but then again do I ever criticize books on this blog?) but I can gush about it! I’m aiming to read the book in one day! Yes, I haven’t read it yet. But, at the end of the day (or when I finish the book) I’ll be back to review it! *** Hey guys! I’m back after reading the whole book. It was 3:00 when I started the book and now (checks clock) it is 6:50! PM, by the way, I’m not an early-morning reader. Anyway, let’s start. I have nothing to say about the plot, other than I enjoyed it and loved Percy’s narrative. But when they start off on their quest. Argus is a Percabeth shipper!!!! That’s all I have to say on the first half of the book....

a very very short review of heartstopper

A very very short review of  h e a r t s t o p p e r Finally! It’s the show starring the ship; 𝓰𝓸𝓵𝓭𝓮𝓷 𝓻𝓮𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻 × 𝓰𝓪𝔂 𝓯𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓰𝓾𝓶𝓹 Hi guys, it’s Eesha Samantray from the Samantray Post and today we’re reviewing HEART STOPPER , a tv adaptation of the graphic novel series. I watched the show without reading the books, and then went on webtoon and read the first two novels, then watched the show again. It’s a really well-done adaptation – I actually found out while reading the books, that most of the scenes were straight out of the books. All the changes were very welcome to me – like more drama, which was bound to happen as it was adapted into a show – including adding some new characters; Imogen, who I was very surprised by the turn they took with her character and how I loved her, and of course, one of the best characters; Isaac. He was just in the background reading his books, which is most likely to be me, as much as I’d li...

i hate teresa, she can die a brutal death

𝓲 𝓱𝓪𝓽𝓮 𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓪 , 𝓼𝓱𝓮 𝓬𝓪𝓷 𝓭𝓲𝓮 𝓪 𝓫𝓻𝓾𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓱 Hey guys, it’s Eesha Samantray from The Samantray Post ! Today we’re reviewing THE SCORCH TRIALS , the second book of the Maze Runner series. I’ll sum it up; this book wasn’t good. The first book was phenomenal, but this book was…eh. Yes, there were twists – mostly involving Teresa, who I’ll talk about a bit later. But it just wasn’t good. People would tell you the exact reason why this book isn’t good, but those people aren’t reviewing this book I’ll tell you what scared the heebie-jeebies outta me: “Rose took my nose, I suppose. It really blows.” No context, sorry. You know if you know. Now let’s talk about what I really wanted to talk about: ~Teresa~ I fricken hate this girl. Don’t give me crap about ‘She’s doing it for humanity and Thomas.’ She made it clear that she’s with WICKED. And I felt really bad for Thomas. Newt would treat you better, just sayin’. “They kissed, but nothing stirred i...

teresa is finally dead, but im bawling over newt

𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓪 𝓲𝓼 𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓵𝔂 𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓭 , 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝓲𝓶 𝓫𝓪𝔀𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝓷𝓮𝔀𝓽 Hi, it’s Eesha Samantray from The Samantray Post . Today we’re reviewing THE DEATH CURE , the third and last book of the Maze Runner series. It’s a solid book, but it was still really disappointing. Nothing could surpass the first book. Teresa is dead, so that’s the only good thing. But now Newt is dead! I hate that. They killed off my favourite character. I think that in the movie his death was sadder, but that’s my opinion. That’s my review, thank you for reading. --- Laugh at all the memes I've saved on Pinterest -   https://www.pinterest.at/eeshasamantray/_saved/ Check out what I'm reading on Goodreads -  https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/146096902-eesha-samantray Read my writing and enter my competitions on Quotev -  https://www.quotev.com/thesamantraypost

tmr is amazing and i take no criticism

T M R is amazing and I take no criticism Y’all, reading and watching HEART STOPPER   before the maze runner made me think that Charlie would be a great runner 😭 he is like only a year younger than Thomas, so same age range haha. Anyway, if you haven’t guessed, today we’re reviewing THE MAZE RUNNER , the first book in the series. If you don’t know what this book is, let me google this real quick. “A teen [Thomas] wakes up in a clearing in the centre of a gigantic maze with no memory of his past, finding himself a resident in community of boys who have built a village in the glade and who sends two of its strongest and fittest runners into the maze every morning to find a way out.” This is for the movie but it translates to the book as well. The Maze Runner is an amazing book, I really enjoyed it. It felt like a mystery, revealing information slowly each chapter, while the main characters tried to solve it. It read like a movie – which was why it made a great one! T...
