Hey guys! Eesha Samantray here from the Samantray Post. I usually review books, but I love this show so much that I need to talk about it. You must be like ‘WHERE’S THE HEROES OF OLYMPUS REVIEW?’ I know, I’m sorry. I’m not reading anymore right now because my preparatory exams are going on.

I stopped my schedule because it seemed like I was forcing myself to read 180 pages a day, so I’m going to read when I want to.

But I watched one season of this show every night with my father. You know what I’m talking about – THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY!!!

𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓸𝓷𝓮𝓼 𝔀𝓱𝓸 𝔀𝓪𝓷𝓽 𝓽𝓸 𝓴𝓷𝓸𝔀 𝓲𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝔂 𝓼𝓱𝓸𝓾𝓵𝓭 𝔀𝓪𝓽𝓬𝓱 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓼𝓱𝓸𝔀

It’s a show about women getting pregnant one the same day when they hadn’t when it started, and those kids have powers and were adopted by this man who wants them ‘to save the world’. I love this show. Watch it. It wasn’t anything I imagined. ‘Weird’ is the one word I’d use to describe it (so Alex Meyers was right, watch his video after watching the first episode, by the way).

Now, go watch it and read my review. YEAH, IT’S AN ORDER!

~𝓵𝓮𝓽'𝓼 𝓰𝓮𝓽 𝓽𝓸 𝓼𝓹𝓸𝓲𝓵𝓮𝓻𝓼~

Guys, I’m only about to talk about the character of the show. I’ll write episode by episode review for season two, since I’m watching episode one tonight with my father.

~𝓯𝓲𝓿𝓮~

I love Five. He’s my favorite…closely followed by Klaus. Out of all of them, I want his power. Everyone says Luther is the leader of the group. But we all know it’s Five. This guy came from the future to help his family, and no one took him seriously! Love him, the actor played the role incredibly. I can believe he’s more than fifty years. By the way, the mannequin? Ship them more than Allison*Luther.

~𝓴𝓵𝓪𝓾𝓼~

God, this man is my second favorite. Again, no one took him seriously either! I love Ben, too, I won’t talk about him separately, but I love their duo. I have a theory maybe he’ll come back? I don’t know, but Klaus has the power to solidify ghosts, I guess? Oh, and Klaus’s love interest! A guy! I knew someone was gay, and I thought it was him, I was right! Love Dave, even though we saw him for seconds. Anyway, love him, let’s go!

~𝓭𝓲𝓮𝓰𝓸~

I hated Diego at first. He seemed like the character that I hate. Then, his love interest died. I saw that coming a mile away. Cops always die in supernatural shows. He grew on me through the series, and I hated someone else. I’ll talk about him last.

~𝓪𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓼𝓸𝓷~

We’re not going to talk about her weird association with Luther until we get to him, cause I have thoughts. Allison was an okay character. I was shook when she almost died. I actually thought she was dead, and was so surprised. So, great, show.

~𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓷𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓿𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓪𝓲𝓷; 𝓵𝓮𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓻𝓭 𝓹𝓮𝓪𝓫𝓸𝓭𝔂/𝓱𝓪𝓻𝓸𝓵𝓭 𝓳𝓮𝓷𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓼~

The near villain. I was flabbergasted when I saw Vanya kill him. I thought she would be the villain in season two! God, the way she killed him terrified me.

𝓿𝓪𝓷𝔂𝓪; 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓵 𝓿𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓪𝓲𝓷

Her having powers was the most predictable thing. But she terrifies me. At first she was ‘eh’ to me. Than her powers came and holy shit.

If this don’t scare you…you’re a god. You ain’t human. Don’t talk to me. I will run if I meet this woman. She’s the most powerful…but I don’t want her power. It’s too tied to her emotions, and I have emotions. If everyone I get mad at dies, than I’ll have no family nor friends. She killed Pogo the monkey man and robot mom lady, my favorite characters!

𝓵𝓾𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻, 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓰𝓾𝔂 𝓲 𝓱𝓪𝓽𝓮 𝓶𝓸𝓼𝓽

I hate this man so much. At first he was ‘meh’ but than he locked Vanya in that thingy! She would never start the apocalypse if not for this guy! I hate him so much. I hate his weird relationship with Allison. In the mortal instrument, it was better! Jace and Clary were siblings (allegedly) but they didn’t grow up together! Here they’re not siblings but they grew up together!

𝓱𝓪𝔃𝓮𝓵 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓬𝓱𝓪-𝓬𝓱𝓪

Now, for last. I ship Hazel with the old lady. They’re so cute. And it’s age appropriate since he was immortal. Now, I feel like he and her went to the future with the academy because of the blue light and Cha-Cha (what a weird name, in my book I literally make a character tease another with this, coincidence that I watched this after I wrote it? I THINK NOT; THE FATES ARE CALLING) is dead (good, I hate her) because there was no light.

So, that’s it. I love this show. The plot and characters were fantastic. Can’t wait to watch the second season, and I heard another season is coming this year! I have to wait, but I’m already waiting impatiently for Shadow and bone, so it’s okay (cries in no).

Anyway, I’ll have a episode by episode review for season two. Tell me if you like this and that and maybe I’ll do more movie/tv show reviews. Give my your thoughts!

Today we’re reviewing the Percy Jackson series! I don’t think I can criticize this series (but then again do I ever criticize books on this blog?) but I can gush about it! I’m aiming to read the book in one day! Yes, I haven’t read it yet. But, at the end of the day (or when I finish the book) I’ll be back to review it! *** Hey guys! I’m back after reading the whole book. It was 3:00 when I started the book and now (checks clock) it is 6:50! PM, by the way, I’m not an early-morning reader. Anyway, let’s start. I have nothing to say about the plot, other than I enjoyed it and loved Percy’s narrative. But when they start off on their quest. Argus is a Percabeth shipper!!!! That’s all I have to say on the first half of the book....

a very very short review of heartstopper

A very very short review of  h e a r t s t o p p e r Finally! It’s the show starring the ship; 𝓰𝓸𝓵𝓭𝓮𝓷 𝓻𝓮𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻 × 𝓰𝓪𝔂 𝓯𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓰𝓾𝓶𝓹 Hi guys, it’s Eesha Samantray from the Samantray Post and today we’re reviewing HEART STOPPER , a tv adaptation of the graphic novel series. I watched the show without reading the books, and then went on webtoon and read the first two novels, then watched the show again. It’s a really well-done adaptation – I actually found out while reading the books, that most of the scenes were straight out of the books. All the changes were very welcome to me – like more drama, which was bound to happen as it was adapted into a show – including adding some new characters; Imogen, who I was very surprised by the turn they took with her character and how I loved her, and of course, one of the best characters; Isaac. He was just in the background reading his books, which is most likely to be me, as much as I’d li...

i hate teresa, she can die a brutal death

𝓲 𝓱𝓪𝓽𝓮 𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓪 , 𝓼𝓱𝓮 𝓬𝓪𝓷 𝓭𝓲𝓮 𝓪 𝓫𝓻𝓾𝓽𝓪𝓵 𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓱 Hey guys, it’s Eesha Samantray from The Samantray Post ! Today we’re reviewing THE SCORCH TRIALS , the second book of the Maze Runner series. I’ll sum it up; this book wasn’t good. The first book was phenomenal, but this book was…eh. Yes, there were twists – mostly involving Teresa, who I’ll talk about a bit later. But it just wasn’t good. People would tell you the exact reason why this book isn’t good, but those people aren’t reviewing this book I’ll tell you what scared the heebie-jeebies outta me: “Rose took my nose, I suppose. It really blows.” No context, sorry. You know if you know. Now let’s talk about what I really wanted to talk about: ~Teresa~ I fricken hate this girl. Don’t give me crap about ‘She’s doing it for humanity and Thomas.’ She made it clear that she’s with WICKED. And I felt really bad for Thomas. Newt would treat you better, just sayin’. “They kissed, but nothing stirred i...

teresa is finally dead, but im bawling over newt

𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓪 𝓲𝓼 𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓵𝔂 𝓭𝓮𝓪𝓭 , 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝓲𝓶 𝓫𝓪𝔀𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝓷𝓮𝔀𝓽 Hi, it’s Eesha Samantray from The Samantray Post . Today we’re reviewing THE DEATH CURE , the third and last book of the Maze Runner series. It’s a solid book, but it was still really disappointing. Nothing could surpass the first book. Teresa is dead, so that’s the only good thing. But now Newt is dead! I hate that. They killed off my favourite character. I think that in the movie his death was sadder, but that’s my opinion. tmr is amazing and i take no criticism

T M R is amazing and I take no criticism Y’all, reading and watching HEART STOPPER   before the maze runner made me think that Charlie would be a great runner 😭 he is like only a year younger than Thomas, so same age range haha. Anyway, if you haven’t guessed, today we’re reviewing THE MAZE RUNNER , the first book in the series. If you don’t know what this book is, let me google this real quick. “A teen [Thomas] wakes up in a clearing in the centre of a gigantic maze with no memory of his past, finding himself a resident in community of boys who have built a village in the glade and who sends two of its strongest and fittest runners into the maze every morning to find a way out.” This is for the movie but it translates to the book as well. The Maze Runner is an amazing book, I really enjoyed it. It felt like a mystery, revealing information slowly each chapter, while the main characters tried to solve it. It read like a movie – which was why it made a great one! T...
