Don't get me wrong I love Leigh Bardugo, and six of crows is my favourite book of all time, but this wasn't her best work. So let's get started! The book starts off with Alina, who is way better in the show. In the book I hate her guts. Like girl chill. She is a cartographer and she has a friend who is a soldier: Malyen Oretsev. Everyone hates him so much it's not even funny. Literally darklina shippers will say that Mal is toxic when they stan the darkling.  Look, I don't even like Mal that much, he annoying as well...especially in the second book. Soooo, it’s been a while. I know I promised quite a few things to do, and then….I didn’t. And I didn’t do anything, really. Yikes. Immediately I’m not going to be reading Volume 2, since I am currently reading Shadow and Bone! Which I will be reviewing along with the rest of the series, because I have a lot of thoughts.
